Green New Deal Town Hall

The Green New Deal is a national, social and economic mobilization not seen since WWII and the New Deal to decarbonize our economy, fight climate change, create millions of high-paying jobs and counteract systemic injustices. Come and learn about the Green New Deal and what it could mean for you and your community.

The talk will be presented by Robbinsville residents who are members of Sunrise Jersey Shore and the Robbinsville Democratic Club. This event will feature two guest speakers: Dr. Sadaf Jaffer, scholar, human rights activist and mayor of Montgomery, NJ as well as Jim Keady, human rights activist, educator and 2018 congressional candidate.

Moms Demand Action Event

June 27, 2019 at 11am: NJ Advocacy Day, Trenton

Join NJ Moms Demand Action volunteers from across the state to fill the halls of the NJ State House to send the message loud and clear that we demand Gun Sense legislation! The whole day is 11-3:30, but if you can only stop by for part of that time – that’s fine! – the hours of maximum effect will be between 11am-12:30pm. We will have more info about meeting times to connect with YOUR state representatives that day if you are able to stay longer. If you can be a part of Advocacy Day, even for a short time.

NJ's primary elections for State Assembly and many county and local races will be held on Tuesday, June 4th.

April 10th is the deadline for voters currently affiliated with a political party to change their party affiliation in order to vote in the Democratic or Republican Primary. 

Unaffiliated voters who wish to vote in the primary can affiliate with one of those two parties at their polling location on election day.

Robbinsville Democratic Club Meeting

The Robbinsville Democratic Club will be having a meeting on April 28, 2019, at 1:00pm at the Lofts on North Commerce Street (down the block from Dolce and Clemente). Snacks will be served. We are going to ratify the Constitution and Bylaws and planning for officer elections. We will also be discussing our presence at Community Day (June 8, 2019).
